Cinarra Systems Japan K.K. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Masato Hosoya, hereinafter referred to as “Cinarra”) will provide its advertising effectiveness measurement and targeting ad distribution service to JR East Planning Co. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Osamu Haraguchi; hereinafter referred to as “jeki”), and jointly developed an advertising product linking transportation advertising and smartphones. This product will be test marketed by jeki, and we aim to commercialize it in the next fiscal year (April 2021 or later).
Outline of this product
- This is a product that combines one of the following products in one package: Train Channel, Top of the Window Channel, In-train Ads, Station Digital Signage, Platform Door Seat Ads, and Automatic Ticket Gate Stickers.
- By utilizing location information obtained from specific Wi-Fi installed around stations, advertisers’ information will be targeted to users in and around stations via smartphones.
- In addition to the delivery of advertisements, it is possible to measure the effectiveness of advertisements using four indicators: demographic analysis, website traffic, store traffic, and psychological indicators.
Through this product, we aim to achieve a synergistic effect of advertising, such as improving recognition and recall by preventing forgetting through overlapping contact with both transportation and digital advertising. In addition, by quantitatively measuring the effectiveness, it will be easier to look back on the campaign and advertisers will be able to more accurately grasp the cost effectiveness of the advertisements they have placed.
In the future, Cinarra will continue to promote linkage with OOH such as traffic and outdoor advertising through location information, and contribute to the development of marketing methods.
Cinarra is currently looking for OOH collaboration partners. If you are interested, please contact us.
